The Fujinon HA18x5.5BERD-S6 Premier Series 2/3" HD ENG/EFP Style lens is designed for high performance and robust flexibility. It features a wide lens to get tight shots along with the ability to follow a player down the court. You'll be comfortable doing interview or studio work as well as capturing the action from the sidelines of a game. The HA18x5.5BERD-S6 with 2X extender provides a wider angle and higher zoom ratio than many popular multi-use lenses. An 0.4m M.O.D. means you'll get exceptional close-ups. In addition to the 2X range extender, the HA18x5.5BERD-S6 has digital servo zoom & focus for full servo studio control, robotics, jibs, tower cams, teleconferencing and other applications where remote control of zoom, focus and iris via RS-232 serial data or traditional analog control is desired.

• Digital servo for zoom & focus for full studio control, robotics, teleconferencing and other applications
• 18X zoom range and 2X Extender
• f/1.8 maximum relative aperture at 5.5 - 62 mm and f/2.9 at 100 mm
• Digi Power
• New digital servo control system to enhance zoom lens performance. State-of-the-art components including a 32-bit RISC processor in the lens, a CPU in each servo demand, optical encoders and high-speed serial communication devices, together with the newly developed digital control circuit, provide 13-bit accuracy in zoom and focus control as well as a variety of new functions. Via RS232 connection, it is now possible to control the lens functions with the high degree of accuracy and reliability needed for virtual studio and other robotic applications, and raising the level for all production environments.
• Digital Quick Zoom
• Quick Zoom speed is improved to 0.7 seconds end to end. Quick Zoom provides for a rapid zoom movement to the telephoto position to check focus with just the push of a button. Releasing the button returns the lens to the previously selected zoom position.
• Digital Find System
• The Focused Intelligent Network Diagnosis system aids in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting by evaluating various lenses' electronic and mechanical parameters.
• Inner Focus System
• Focusing by fixing the front lens and then moving the lens in the barrel back-and-forth. Provides a stable grip since the length of the lens is unchanged while focusing. In addition, since the front lens doesn't rotate while focusing, there is very little effect when using a Polarizing filter.
