Fujinon PL 18-85 T2.0 Zoom Lens for 35mm Motion Picture Film
The Fujinon HK4.7x18 Premier Series PL Mount 18-85 Cine Style Lens is a dynamic system designed for the latest generation of high resolution digital cameras featuring fast T stops, and exceptional optical performance. Up to now, for scenes requiring high speed or highest quality, cinematographers used Prime lenses. Now, Fujinon has a new set of 4K+ PL mount zooms, including the HK4.7x18, which opens up to T2.0. That capability was previously occupied only by Primes. The HK4.7x18 18-85 mm T2.0 zoom is an all-purpose zoom encompassing the most used focal length range for the majority of dramatic studio and location scenes.
Fujinon Premier Series Zooms are designed for the highest performance cameras. They exhibit minimal breathing when focusing. Image quality is consistent and repeatable. Coatings and elements of all lenses are consistently color matched. The 280 degree focus barrel rotation ensures an expanded focus scale, with accurate and consistent marks. Also, The lenses are consistent at every focal length, object distance and T-stop.
